Hi Gizmo, i agree with this unwritten rule, but so many people that dont know about still rule buy the 1 coin items, so i arrange for the person to be ready. Can you do more videos please explaining in your words the new events, weekly events and how you game play.

I calculated some stuff when you do this you get prob 3expensions in 2 min so in 1 houre you get 60 so it’s not bad not that guide but it does work

I agree and do my best to follow this unwritten rule. For me the exception is if it's advertised in the paper and its sitting there for a while, then I'll take it. I believe you did mention this as well. Dont expect something to stay in your stand if you advertise. I will also add that when I transfer to my baby farm I will ALWAYS be on 2 devices and grab that item immediately. i never let things sit in my stand longer than a few seconds. If it's for.a neighbor I use chat to make sure they are there to receive it. Having said all that, it's a good reminder that if someone does come and take your sale,, I will laugh it off and keep playing . It's part of the game and there will always be pirates!!! Aaarrrghh!!!

This is not correct; or at the very least is not the same for everyone. You absolutely still get whatever you'd normally get from wheating, as it can exceed your storage capacity (you just won't be able to collect anything from production buildings/fish etc). This is true for me on all farms (16) with the highest being lvl 155. It is quite possible there is a cap, based either on level or total storage capacity (or both).

I imagine this is something that people can work into the game within the next few years. It’s also a blessing and a curse to limit in game convos to neighbors and such. I think about the safety it creates for younger players for one, but also the variability this limited messaging creates as well… I find that the only method of trading in game has been the hay day discord server you have and even then, people may only sell you stuff they don’t want bc you are selling something they do want… you’re blindsided until after the purchase and end up feeling bitter bc you ask for one thing and got it’s cousin

Yeah, no way this isn’t a rule and it is bad for the game anything is fair game. If you have a problem with it maybe not cheat with baby farms and stick to 1.

I won't buy from people who put up expensive harder to prepare items when they need help, if I can't help them. I feel guilty purchasing if I didn't at least assist with something like filling a boat crate or serving a town visitor. Also, I usually leave items in the back alone unless it's full price. I do often rearrange a sale in the back with my neighborhood players.

You can plant that much wheat by placing both fingers on the plant or sickle and spreading them out while planting or harvesting!

Bottom Line: COMMON COURTESY When a sniper steals my items in the back that have been there for less than5 minutes for one coin, it is infuriating. I want to have fun and not feel anger or stress. So, Please let it go and follow the unwritten rule. Give peace a chance ✌️☮️💜

First I had no clue about this “unwritten rule” until seeing this video. And personally, I think it’s ridiculous so I disagree with the whole idea. Putting items up for sale … at your curbside… in an “open to the public” farm-stand well…. When you own a business, i.e. your farm-stand, you are in the business of selling products to the public to make money or useful items. You cannot pick and choose to whom you sell products to, that is called discrimination. And in my opinion if this is such a huge problem and it gets peoples hackles up well then this is an opportunity for Hay Day techs to figure out a way to fix it. For instance, I am blocked from buying products or performing some tasks unless I reach a certain level🤷‍♀️ I am blocked from participating in certain tasks because I don’t have the machine to make the products🤷‍♀️ I have been blocked from helping farmers because I don’t belong to their “neighborhood”🤷‍♀️ Soooo hey day team figure out a way to block out some baskets in the farmstand for those who get upset when someone else buys something meant for a specific buyer.

Sorry, I have to disagree. If an item is in the farmstand, it’s fair game. If I want to sell something specific to someone in my neighborhood, we pre-arrange for that person to be at my farmstand at a specific time. If we allow this unofficial “rule”, it opens the door for more unofficial “rules”. Just stick to the game.

I wait five minutes by the clock before buying. Usually its gone by then. But it gives a fair chance. You should be ready before trades. Personally I use a baby farm for trades. I give the trade person the friend code with instructions to buy and unfriend. It would be nice to have a better way to trade.

Totally agree! I’ve had things taken before. Now, when I arrange a trade or private sale I always post a single crop item to be sure the person to receive the product or tool is actually present at my stand. It’s harder when transferring to or from baby farms unless I use two devices. It’s doable but not always convenient. Most often I take the risk.
